Tuesday - Sunday
April - October, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
November - March, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Thursdays
May - October, 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

(Closed Mondays except for Monday holidays such as Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Columbus Day. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day)

The Garden closes early at 5 p.m. on April 30, May 2 and May 7.

Please Note: The Orangerie area of the Fuqua Conservatory is closed for renovation until March 2014. The Tropical Rotunda may be closed periodically as needed.

Directions

The Garden is located adjacent to Piedmont Park at
1345 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30309. 

From the south on I-75/85 N

Exit at 10th Street (exit # 250) and turn right (east) on 10th Street. Go three blocks and turn left (north) on Piedmont Avenue. Continue on Piedmont past 14th Street and Piedmont Park. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is on the right across from The Prado.

From the north on I-85 S

Exit at #84 and follow the signs to 14th Street. Turn left on 14th Street, crossing over the interstate. Continue on 14th Street until it ends at Piedmont Avenue and turn left. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is on the right across from The Prado.

From the north on I-75 S

Exit at #250 and follow the signs to 14th Street east. Turn left on 14th Street, crossing over the interstate. Continue on 14th Street until it ends at Piedmont Avenue and turn left. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is on the right across from The Prado.

Public Transportation

The Garden is served by the MARTA transit system. Bus #27 stops at the main entrance at 1345 Piedmont Avenue, and Bus #27 may be boarded at either the Midtown or Lindbergh Center train stations.

No outside food or beverages. Visitors may picnic in Piedmont Park adjacent to the Garden. 

Handicap Access

Nearly all areas are handicap accessible. Wheelchairs are available on a first come first serve basis. Electric mobility scooters are available for rent.

Weather Policy

The Garden is open rain or shine. Most gardens are located outside so dress appropriately for weather. There are indoor air conditioned and heated areas for visitors including the visitor center, café and conservatory and orchid center. Refunds or rain checks on admission ticket purchases are not granted for weather related reasons.
