Children's Garden

The Children's Garden combines plant education with interactive features such as slides, a green roof and several water features to create Atlanta's favorite family destination. The two-acre garden was built in partnership with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to emphasize wellness and healing, and opened in September 1999.

Visitors reach the Children's Garden by crossing the Flower Bridge which is planted with year-round color and fragrant herbs, and overlooks the Cascades Garden. The Children's Garden features themed gardens that delight children and adults alike. A favorite among the children is the Sunflower Fountain, where kids can splash and play (watch the video)!
