Prepping for Veggie Garden Success

10 a.m. - noon

Late autumn is the best time of year to take stock of your garden and get ready for next year's success. Learn how to prepare the garden beds you plan on cultivating - from killing turf and pesky overwintering pests to tips on moving existing plantings out of the way. Plan your crops and rotation schedule, and learn about great sources for seeds and live plants. Learn how to recognize and combat the major pests and diseases your veggies may come in contact with during the next growing season. Organic techniques will be emphasized.

Fee: $25 (Members $20)
Instructor: Jessica Groleau, Atlanta Botanical Garden assistant horticulturist
