Glass Exhibition

Blown Organics: The Glass of Cohn-Stone Studios

May - October

Discover a bounty of sparkling glass apples, pears and peaches among the new plantings in the Edible Garden. The hand-blown glass sculptures range in size from about 8" to 24" in diameter. In fall, the exhibition will expand to include a cornucopia of produce including pumpkins and gourds. More Information

Swaptember

September 1 - 31

September is Swaptember for members! Garden members receive discounts at other cultural institutions and attractions in Atlanta throughout the month. More Information

Garden Tours

Every Tuesday and Thursday
1:30 p.m.

Visitors are invited to take a stroll with a knowledgeable volunteer guide to discover interesting insights about the Garden and what's in bloom. Meet in the admissions area five minutes prior to tour time.No registration required. Free with admission. More Information

Cocktails in the Garden

"Mocha & Mudslides"

Every Thursday in September
6 - 10 p.m.

Make it a double! Cocktails in the Garden provides the only nighttime opportunity to explore the new features which nearly double the size of the Garden.

Chocolate: Seed to Sweet

September 4 - January 2

Step inside the amazing world of chocolate. This imaginative exhibition takes visitors behind the scenes of chocolate, from the roots of the cacao tree to the candy factory. Look for special weekly programs including classes and demonstrations, and every visitor leaves with a bite of chocolate...sweet! More Information

Garden Chef Cooking Demos

Saturdays and Sundays
May 2 - October 31
noon and 1 p.m.

Each weekend in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen, the Garden Chef showcases fresh seasonal vegetables, fruits and herbs in simple and mouthwatering recipes. Free with Garden admission. Presented by SCANA Energy.

During Chocolate: Seed to Sweet, indulge in Garden Chef cooking demos featuring chocolate recipes. Local chocolatiers and guest chefs will also be on hand for delicious presentations. More Information

Canopy: Beauty of the Bower

Tickets are now on sale for the 2010 Garden of Eden Ball, which features  the lush woodland of the Gardens. Where else but along the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s spectacular new Kendeda Canopy Walk can elegantly clad men and women make such a splash upon their arrival for a romantic evening of dinner and dancing under the stars? Scarecrows in the Garden

This annual tradition features wild and wacky scarecrow creations by individuals, designers, local organizations and businesses throughout Atlanta. Free with Garden admission.
