Edible Art

A Delicious Spectrum From the Garden

June 3 - August 31

Works by international award-winning botanical watercolor artist Hillary Parker are on view in the Garden Art Gallery in the Fuqua Orchid Center. Created with the color spectrum in mind, each painting depicts a fruit or vegetable painted in botanical detail and arranged in the order of the spectrum. Starting with a violet-red beet, the colors change with every fruit and vegetable and blend seamlessly thru the reds, into the yellows, and finish with a violet-blue, variegated eggplant. As an added educational aspect, Hillary also included the health benefits of eating particular colored foods from the garden. More Information
