Second Sundays

During Chocolate: Seed to Sweet, indulge in Garden Chef cooking demos featuring chocolate recipes. Local chocolatiers and guest chefs will also be on hand for delicious presentations.

Sunday, December 12, 2 p.m.

Celebrated pastry chef Cynthia Wong of Cakes & Ale will wrap up the popular Chocolate Sunday series with a demonstration of Dulce de Leche German Chocolate Cupcakes. Then let the tasting begin!

Come early to learn the chocolate making process with CocoaTown from noon to 1 p.m. Discover the equipment used to transform cocoa beans into chocolate bars.

Plus, stop by the Sweet Surrender Fudge sales table in the Hardin Visitor Center between noon and 3 p.m. for some tasty treats.

Lisa Smith of Bluepointe

Sunday, November 14, 2 p.m.

Join one of Atlanta’s favorite pastry chefs, Lisa Smith of Bluepointe, as she shows off her impressive dessert-making skills. She will demonstrate a heavenly Milk Chocolate Cremeux topped with Salted Caramel featuring Valrhona Tanariva Milk Chocolate.

Schakolad Chocolate Factory

Sunday, October 10, 2 p.m.

Join Schakolad Chocolate Factory of Sandy Springs in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen for a tantalizing chocolate making demonstration and lesson on the history of the chocolate making process.

Watch as truffles are hand-dipped and melted chocolate is molded. At the end of the presentation, taste a sample of their decadently delicious confections!

For the first Chocolate Sunday, join Jamie Fahey from the Atlanta Cupcake Factory in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen for a cupcake decorating demonstration.

After watching a pro, try your own hand at decorating. She will have lots of delicious cupcakes for visitors to decorate and most importantly...eat!
