Orchids for Beginners I

Orchids generally can be divided into two broad groups that dictate cultural requirements. Phalaenopsis and Paphiopedilum, both beautiful genera, belong to the group whose care requirements are closest to other typical houseplants. This class will examine how to grow these plants and their relatives in the typical home environment. Each class participant will go home with an orchid plant.
